What is my “super power” that helps others succeed? It’s my unique ability to find the “keystone”, or root-cause to the barriers of success.

My Story

In the beginning…

Looking back, I am so lucky that things never came easy for me. I had to work hard to figure out how to do things like sports, academics, relationships, etc…

In preschool, I remember having a shoe kicking contest, and I figured out the best way to kick my shoe so it would go the farthest to win the prize.

This pretty much describes me, Analytical and competitive.

I have always been driven to figure out how to do things better, including making complex ideas easy to understand.

And because things never came easy for me and I had to work hard to figure out how to do them, I became an expert at determining and teaching the foundational building blocks. I call these building blocks the “keystones” or “root cause”. When one can master the root causes, or keystones, or the one thing that makes the biggest difference, one can easily make significant changes and succeed at what they want.

THE FOUNDATION…

I got my degree is in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado. However, I chose to not do a technical job, instead, my first job after college was as a sales rep at IBM. IBM had what was considered the best training of all companies. Sure I learned about products and professional selling (ie, ethical, non-manipulative), but more than that, I learned about business and what buyers really care about the most.

My career took off and with hard work, studying my craft, and most importantly, by taking a 180 degree approach as compared to what most others were doing… my motto, be different.

I was a consistent top performer at IBM. After a number of years, I left IBM for a software company called PTC, and then onto other sales and eventually management roles in other tech companies, selling and managing teams in the software, hardware and services businesses. I made a conscious decision to work my way out of large companies, into smaller and smaller companies and eventually start-ups and my own business.

My goal, help others succeed.

And here I am today.

My mission, help you succeed in leadership, sales or in your own personal performance.
